iPhone strength training for serious lifters
Lean turns your plan, logged sets, RPE, form notes, pain flags, missed sessions, and feedback into explainable next-workout drafts you approve. It is a training tool, not a wellness feed or a silent autopilot.

Approving applies the change. Ignoring leaves the plan unchanged.
The loop
Sets, load, reps, RPE, form notes, pain flags, missed sessions, and anything you dictated after training.
Lean turns the session into a concrete recommendation with the reason attached.
Approving applies it to the plan. Ignoring leaves the plan unchanged.
Real app evidence

The current native shell is built around Home, Progress, Coach, and the gold Train commitment action.

The workout screen keeps warm-ups, working sets, RPE, notes, dictation, and rest timing in one focused surface.

Post-workout recommendations explain the adjustment and wait for Approve or Ignore.
Adaptive Plan
Lean organizes training into Base, Build, Intensify, and Consolidate phases. Newer lifters stay simple, strength-specific goals get more planned variation, and logged issues become proposals instead of silent rewrites.
Establish repeatable volume from clean completion and stable RPE.
Accumulate work when target reps land and form stays controlled.
Practice heavier, more specific work when the goal calls for it.
Protect quality when missed reps, high RPE, pain flags, or poor form show up.
Heart-rate zones are shown only from real Apple Health samples inside the workout window. They do not drive strength-load changes by themselves.
Controlled coaching
Lean is conservative around pain, non-diagnostic by design, and explicit about what changed. The plan changes only after you approve the proposal.
